reet i think both of my hdd's are on the way out, there both a few years old and have had a lot of use, one totally died a while back but miraculously came back to life after sitting in a cupboard for 3 months, they are a 13gig and a 40 gig and have been gradually gaining more n more bad sectors and causing loads of trouble when moving and creating partitions.

sooooooooo... whats the best/cheapest hdd i can get, at least 60 gig tho i am on a budget as im poor!

Get a Maxtor one from Dabs. Relatively cheap, quiet and reliable
