Question

Can anyone help? A non-critical problem but seems a bit strange to me. I'm running XP on my PC and normally when I launch my browser it auto dials to ic-24. As of this morning it's got a hangover and will not co-operate; I have to go to Network Connections and ask the modem to dial.It seems to work (obv!) but I'm just a bit curious as I don't think an of my settings have been changed at this end. Also, this fault is present irrespective of whether or not the Zone Alarm is active.

PS. I know my PC is switched on as the cup holder comes out and in.

Ok.. should be easy open up IExplorer..

Click tools..

Click internet options..

Click "connections" tab

make sure your dialup IC24 connection appears in the first box, if not click "add" and check the dot underneath * Always dial my default connection

Then when you or a program requests on port80 (http) IE will popup and proceed to dialup etc..

Should sort you out
