Still recovering from 8 hours split between XIII and NFSU.
Both are wicked games. XIII is soo involving, and the UI is spot on! I'm currently on a level where you have to take out the guards before they raise an alarm and disable two generators, graphics are very good, and the little cartoon pics that pop up as you dispose of the enemy are very cool...
NFSU - when I first tried it, I thought it was good, but didn't really get into it, now I think its excellent, particularly like the drag races and the use of nitros
However, the misses isn't so impressed

I've completed XIII... those levels where you have to take out the guards are good but can be very fustrating! I love the graphics in the game. I couldn't stop playing it once I got into it... "just one more level"
I'm also loving Top Spin. great game.

Ooh Top Spin ! Now that's a GREAT Tennis game. The only thing that annoys me is that you cant save game during a championship, but otherwise a goodie.
Tried Max Payne 2 and Rainbow Six 3 - rather disappointed in both really.
Now Grabbed by the Ghoulies - THIS makes me laugh ! I put it through the Dolby Digital amp last week, and the sound is pretty good. Problem is I keep dying ! Trying to beat up skeletons and zombies whilst laughing isn't easy !!! Farts going off around you and the Grim Reaper using his scythe thing as a guitar ? Made I larf !!!

Si - yup, nothing sinister, just one of the normal people now
XIII is sooo addictive, just have to see where the plot takes you next - and it is frustrating at times, but then what game isn't.. I only worked out how to use the medi-packs on the third level! made life easier!
Hmm.. Grabbed by the Ghoulies was one I wasn't sure of getting, did enjoy the demo, using the pool table to take out the zombies thou..
NFSU just gets more mental as you get into it, with all the power upgrades... I'm currently using the Hyundi Coupe with full phase 1 conversion on it including neons

NFS/UG. Just played it with my lad on his PS2, could'nt get more than 20ft without crashing. I expect you need to build up to the fast modded cars to get used to it. lol. Playing splinter cell at the moment, now thats a good game but whats XIII. Seen it in the shops and been put off by the cartoon type graphics. Is it worth getting.

Chris_ - re NFSU, you need to use in car view, not outside of car view, when playing - makes life a lot easier, well I think so anyhow, for some reason the handling changes the cars.
As for XIII, don't let the cartoon graphics put you off, still a fair amount of gore and violence.. and a wicked plot.

Just got XIII aswell. How do you say that ? I've just bought 13 ? Or I've just bought X one one one ?
Anyway, it's a great game ! Enjoying it a lot, and has a decent story too.

I remember. He is quite tough. Don't get too close or he'll have you. keep him at a distance and pick him off. when your health is low move away ( I went into the warehouse ) use your medipacks and then go back after him.
You are nearing the end but still a good few levels to do.
