cpu cooler would this cooler be worth buying for my 9800pro as ive been having a couple of games issues lately with zero hr so i thought why not start with the gpu 1st

Unless you use a fan as well, the Zalman heatsink doesn't actually cool as effectively as the stock hatsink/fan. Are you having problems when it is overclocked only?

My mate bought a 9800 Pro and has severe overheating problems playing games. The PC just reboots itself after a while.
I did read somewhere that running the AGP at 4x instead of 8x has little affect on performance and can reduce temperatures - worth a try?

If you card is based on the ATI refrence design then get one of these, I have one on my card and it is great..
