on my pc i can't seem to get anything to work with java script. i have win xp and im using micosoft internet explorer with broadband connection. any ideas why its not working. thanks in advance

In IE, check that the settings;

Tools | Internet Options | Security | Custom Level | Scripting

Set all the options to Enable
