Does anyone know where I can get some domain names valued? I have:

buycanononline.com
buynikononline.com
thedirectcompany.co.uk

All bought for projects that didn't come off. I have a figure in mind but I don't obviously want to undersell or go too silly.

Cheers

I would think they are worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them. Dunno if Ebay is any good for selling domains.

Maybe do some searches for retailers online who mainly sell Canon or Nikon.

Ian,

tried before couldnt find anywhere, lots of places that will do domain 'appraisals' which they charge for but like said they are only worth what someone is willing to pay. Perhaps put them on the 'for sale' section on here!

Ive got
www.bespokesoftwaredevelopment.com
www.letsgetonthenet.co.uk

if anyone wants to swap an STI 8 for either of the above?

I registered a domain for a company I worked for. Totally innocuous and was the name of the company, but a good name. Over time, various enquiries and an offer of £20k, then a large US corporation got interested and opened bidding at 6 figures. My boss wanted 7 figures and that was more than they were prepared to pay, but reckon we'd've met 1/2 way if the boss had really wanted to sell. It happens to be the single most valuable asset the company owns!

So can I retire yet Puff?

I don't want to take 50 quid and kick myself in 6 months but eBay is proving fruitless - 99p to date
