AMD XP2100+ CPU Fan onto XP2800+ ??

12 months or so ago I bought an AMD XP2100+ processor and heatsink (Retail kit) and over the weekend I've just bought an XP2800+ (Thoroughbred) oem cpu.Will my heatsink/fan be ok to transfer from one cpu to the other? I don't mean this from a physical point of view,more from a cooling point of view?
It's just that I've seen various cpu fans that say suitable upto a certain speed of processor etc etc......
Is this the case with the genuine AMD kit too??
