Hello

Trying to fit Xecuter 2.3 Lite to my new X-Box and the DVD light now flashes Red Green continuously.

If I disable the chip (via the switch at the front) then the X-Box boots normally.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Steve.

Sounds like you haven't got the D0 ground making a good contact.

Legacy

Unless someones played with the xbox lights in the dash ini (iirc) it should be constant green, as DJ says dodgy DO or bios not present on mod chip can bring these up.

I do not in the slightest understand any jargon re the xbox....

I had it chipped and it works with EVERYTHING....

However, I have recently become interested in the Xbox live and am keen to get into this....

I now understand that i need alterantive stuff and will be discussing this with someone that can help me out VERY soon!!!

cheers

Hello

Thanks for the suggestions. I even soldered two extra wires to the ground cables to make sure they were connected.

Still, red/green flashing. Annoying.

How easy is it to fit a chip then? (solder type). Is it something a relative novice could do?

Hello

Well, before the weekend I would have said "Easy, no worries".

But now of course I would say that it is a little harder!
