After battling with my Exchange 2003 migration, I'm trying to install GroupShield on the new server.

The ePOAgent installed itself automatically and has rolled out VirusScan 7.1 to the Exchange server, but it won't roll-out GroupShield.

I've check the Master software repository and GroupShield 5.2.0 is listed. Is this all that is needed and is there any way of working out why it won't install?

The things I need to do on a Friday

No, there's no messages logged in the Server Event log (EPO one that is). It's listed in the Repository, but I can't find a NAP file on the servers disk.

Is GroupShield supplied with the AVD or is this a seperate product. I'm thinking the support is there, but the actual install files aren't installed.

Does anyone know if GroupShield is supported on Exchange 2003 running on Server 2003?

Thanks Chris.

I found an article in their Knowledge base suggesting the GroupShield product wouldn't auto depoy from ePO and that it needs to be installed manually.

Once it's installed, it can be managed via the ePO interface.

Anyway, I didn't have access to our software @ the weekend, so I downloaded and installed the Beta of v6. So far, so good with that until I can get hold of our existing software.
