I was just going through our ticketing system making sure all looked ok for the weekend, and came across this desktop support gem which came in this morning:
Requestor: "My CD burning software has disappeared from my desktop, please reinstall. Thanks"
Support guy: "Do you remember the name of the software?"
Requestor: "No don't remember - but it was orange."
Hilarious

We have a manager here, a few years ago he decided to tidy up the office and there was this big ugly cable hanging down so he cut it. He managed to bring the network down for 2 days.
