Setting up a micro ISP.
#1
Hi peeps,
Seeing as some of you lot work for ISPs id be interested if you could help me with a few infrastructure questions.
Basically im interested in setting up a micro isp. Because im trying to do this on the cheap I cant really afford much.
So basically I have bought a "big" server Ie raid etc etc and now I know that its bad form to host to many things on one server. I can also afford one more, cheaper IDE based server, if needs be. Would it be best to host the DNS and Mail on one server and the web sites on another with dns backup on the main server ?
Ideally what id like is some resilliance to outages and perhaps as things grow make it easier to do add new machines.
