I'm trying to back up my playstation 2 (DVD) games but not getting any joy.

I guess i need a bit of software that overcomes the encryption on the original. Can anybody recommend the right one? There seems to be plenty available but they all seem to be for movie backups, rtaher than games ones. Whaich ones work with PS2 games?

Thanks folks!

Russ

Question

Does this mean that I can use Nero on my PC to make emergency back-ups of my PS2 games ..... and if the originals get damaged, the copies will work???

Had some RTM's on this one.

Strictly speaking, this activity is illegal under the wonderful new EU-DCMA, in which circumventing copy protection is a crime. This has not been passed as UK law yet, but it's only a matter of time now as it's on Brussels' books.

My personal belief is that back-up of something falls well within fair use. However, in the UK we do not have the legal right to fair use either.
