Question

One of the computers here has had its sound disabled.
How do I switch it back on?
Is it one of the devices?

Cheers
Mark

Check in the BIOS if it is an on-board sound card we used to disable the cards there at my old company.

Cheers Ian, I think that is what has happened.

Thanks

Every system is different really, when you first turn on your PC it will say something along the lines of "Press Del to enter Setup". This will take you into the BIOS, then there is normally a menu for peripherial setup, or something similar. Enable the Sound Card in this menu, save the changes then reboot.

HOWEVER If you are not 100% sure about what you are doing I would NOT change anything in the BIOS.
