Think this in the right forum, is there such a thing as a pair of headphones, that my `getting deaf` dad can use so he can hear the telly, and my mum can also hear it normally he has to HAVE IT LOUD [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] which spoils it for my mum

If your TV has a headphone jack on it that doesnt mute the speakers try a pair of these?

If not you can get ones with a mic pickup from the RNID
