Laptop Repair??
#1
One of our clients has a Dell Inspiron P3 laptop. The lower PCMCIA slot was not working. Laptop bluescreened and on restart wouldn't boot. Got it to boot now second PCMCIA slot not working. PCMCIA now not shown in hardware. Now won't boot. Fan starts then stops and nothing else.
Possible power supply problem ??
Does anyone repair these things?? If so how quickly and is it worth doing?? I figure if it costs more than £200 it's not worth the money... any ideas

take a look at What Laptop & Handheld PC magazine, they normally have a good list of suppliers at the back who do repairs/spares.
Presumably the unit is out of warranty. You could also ring Dell for details of their official repairer.
