Have any of you lot played it yet? It’s amazing I’d defiantly say it’s the best racing game ever made!! If your in to gaming it’s a must. or if your in to cars for that mater!

Nah Yoza, just tired of the crap that's posted here these days, I let off through these rants every now and then, multiple lazy posts usually the trigger. Don't get to be an Old Fart just sitting around you know?

I've played it and totally agree, best game ever!!!
And if you have Broadband then get it on X-Link (same as Live but you don't pay and you can use your 'backups)

It’s wicked isn’t it.. I’ve played it on line loads but I’m not connected at home yet I’ve heard about xlink but don’t know anybody who’s tried it. Do you use this? Can you still use the communicator? I love the banter you can get going

Only trouble with using xlink etc instead of live is that you don't any of the extra downloadable content for certain games. Also in pgr2, you don't have access to all the world rankings / ghosts/ etc.
Good if all you want to do is like up for a multiplayer game, but not so good for the other stuff...

You don't actually need Bo-Xlink installed onto your X-Box, that is only there to make it easy for you to switch between Messenger, WGN and Rooms mode without going to your pc.
As long as you have X-Link installed on your pc then you're good to go.
The headset is not compatible with Project Gotham 2 on X-Link but other games are.
We have been playing Rainbow Six recently and when you create the room on X-Link it automatically configures the VoiceStream for you and the headsets works okay.
We're playing Ghost Recon Island Thunder tonight and that also supports voice.
X-Link is much easier to use than XBConnect, I find XBConnect ugly to look at.

Be sure to download the 2.2.4 update if you want to use WET11 as you need to nominate the X-Box and WET11 MAC

I disagree in that I think pgr2 is better than gt3, but then again it's hard to compare the two as they are essentially different styles of driving game.

PGR2 totalls pi**es on Gran Turismo 3
But then wouldn't you expect it to?
GT3 was out, what, 2 years ago??
Hopefully GT4 will be even better than PGR2, all this competition just means better games for us

Got all the platinums on the first set of tracks, about 4 on the next level up, and then mostly gold an silver from there on, but have a handful of other platinums on the later levels. Got to the classic sport car level now

So what does one have to do to unlock the ring? Hopefully it's all about completing levels but not at gold/platinum levels.
I would come and join in your online fun but with most of my passes only at bronze I think I would be a mobile chicane.
