We have a wireless bridge here that seems to go to sleep if not used for 30mins or so. What I'm after is a little program that'll run in the background of windows to ping an IP address every 15 seconds or so. If I install this on both sides of the bridge it should keep it up and happy.

How would I do this ?

The IP addresses are 192.168.21.98 and 192.168.21.99 Just in case you're wondering!

Are there no settings on the bridge itself, which indicate sleep after 30mins if idle?

why don't you write a batch cmd to do the ping and execute that every minute from the windows scheduler?

if you get stuck I can write one for you in about 4 minutes.

Create a task for it in Task Scheduler and set it to run at system startup.
