Help! Employment Question!

i wanna jump ship! here's the situation...
i am working for a IT company ABC. ABC client is XYZ and i am working on-site at XYZ. now, XYZ like me and would like to employ me directly, but a clause in the contract between ABC and XYZ wont allow it until after 12 months.
so my question is, can i then quit ABC and work for another company, STI, who will then send me to work on-site at XYZ. will this bypass the contract clause?
sorry i dont have info about the contract but i imagine they are pretty standard in case employee wanna jump ship. i am only jumping ship coz XYZ will pay more and better benefits!
p/s ok, so this is not strictly computer related, but it is in the computer world
