I have some Vb script to email from an access database.
Everything works fine apart from getting an Outlook message box for every email saying "A program is trying to send emails" and you have to wait 5 seconds before you can hit yes.
As I have 500 emails to sent out I need to be able to turn this off - any ideas?

Carl,
It's a security feature of outlook 2000 onwards. Frustrating isnt it!!! Ok several options, one is do a search for something called outlook redemption, this uses extended MAPI as opposed to Standard and gets around the security issue. However you may have trouble driving it from VB script, you could search and perhaps try using EMAPI yourself (not for the faint hearted) or there is a little utility that sits in the task bar and sends a Y or mouse click to the window to get rid of the message, what it's called I dont know but at least you could run it un-attended then.
Have fun!

If you have VB, you could write a small app that uses the "sendkeys" function to press the "y" key for you, but admittedly that's a sucky solution.
If you've got an SMTP server then that cuold be a lot easier.
