typical! just spent near enough that building my own.

Those PC's that Aldi sell are usually the Medion range and they always have quality branded stuff inside them

If you want one make sure you get to the store early though!

Got the last one

Same spec but with P4 2.6Ghz and 120Gb HD for 799.

Its a fantastic piece of kit, I could never have bought everything for the price and done it myself. Its all branded - ATI card, Samsung Memory, Sony DVD, Pioneer DVD-R - absolute bargain, and still worth every penny I paid for it!!!

Be warned - get there earlier on the day the offer starts (thursday) as there will be a massive queue and each store only has limited stocks!! I got in just in time, half way down the queue, sold out in 10 mins!!!! I got there about 8:45 for 9am opening, shouldda got there 8:15 to 8:30.

They will also have flat screens etc too - lots of people went for them first which meant missing out on the PC so to just have to put them back again - make sure you get a PC first, theres plenty of the other stuff if you want it!!!!

I like the look of the A4 graphics tablet for £30. Can anybody work out what make it is, can't quite see from the graphics on the Aldi site.

Cheers

You may be wondering why it says "real 3.0Ghz" well it's because the Lidl supermarket chain are also doing a Athlon equivelent base unit, althugh £50 more @ £899.99

Was anyone lucky enough to get one of the Aldi ones?

My bro got one, he was going to build his own but after reading the reviews he had to get one. Excellent bit of kit.
