Ipaq problem
#1
I have TomTom installed on my Ipaq, which I only use in the car and store in the glove box. If the battery completely runs out on my Ipaq, when I plug it in all the installed programs have dissapeared. Is this normal?

Most IPAQ's go dead within a couple of days - even worse when yo have GPS jackets. Mine is powered permanently, either in the car or at home it its cradle..
This is the worst thing about IPAQ's

I'm sorry but that is rubbish.
I can go on hols for 2 weeks and all my ipaqs (I've had 5 of them) will still have power after my hols.
All PocketPCs power on at midnight to check alarms etc, if you have a GPS jacket on then the ipaq will start trying to find a GPS server. So don't leave it plugged into jackets etc, lower the auto turn off time, turn auto brightness on, turn
regards,
greg

We have around 20 - they all fail after a few days - even without GPS - must be a dodgy batch or something.
We have had no end of them given back to us, usually after the second time the battery dies and they have to re-install..
