My boss has the usual BT USB modem and wants to get wireless and wired LAN at home to connect to said broadband.

I am using a netgear router using ethernet connection to NTL so I don't know what to get for him & his USB ??? any ideas

DLINK or Netgear stuff will be fine..

11MBPS will be fine

For BT Broadband the Netgear DG824M will do the job nicely, all-in-one box

One thing though - if you do get the dg824m make sure you upgrade to the latest firmware 1.4xx .. the shipping firmware is still 1.20 which is out of date and buggy!

Also just got the netgear. First thing I did was update the firmware. Extremely impressed with it.

2 systems are hardwired and my laptop lets me roam free :-)

I just got Netgear stuff

Was a pain to set up, but that could be due to my lack of networking.

Got a problem with the wireless adaptor in my laptop (WG511) as its causing my laptop to freeze and lock up. Have to disconnect the battery to get it going again. Tried updating the driver and its still the same.

I'm NOT buying a lottery ticket this week.
