MIRC / IRC etc how secure is it?? With a decent fire wall are you OK using programs like this? I`m worried about hacker threat.
I am using God IRC at home with Norton Virus / firewall etc but I dont wanna get in any trouble at work.

 

Sure are, as long as you're firewalled off you should be ok. Just don't execute any files someone may DCC you, although that very rarely happens.

 

ive been using mirc for a bit n not had any security trouble, i always have a firewall running tho
