Memory question

Hi,
My PC needs a upgrade,but ive not got round to doing it yet
With all the stuff i have i think 128mb isnt enough(broadband,dvd writer,cdrw ,2 H/D's etc etc).
On looking at the system summary thing on windows ME it says i have 127mb of total physical memory,But Available physical memory is only 4.8 mb????
is this right???
Its just that my pc has been getting slower and slower over the last few months?

for starters get rid of windows ME, it causes more problems than its worth
it wouldnt suprise me 128mb isnt much memory at all for the kinds of programs we running today
