Question

We've been trying to Winzip a 4.04Gb file today and it was failing with an error message.

Error:No files were found for this action that match your citeria - nothing to do (x:\whatever.zip)
Does Winzip have a limit to the initial file size? Is it 4Gb (as a guess)?

We created a self extracting WinRAR executable in the end, but I was just curious as to why this happened!

Thumbs up

IIRC you'll need version 9 to shed 4GB file size limit of previous versions
