Messenger and Norton
for some reason,i cannot set auto protect in Norton to protect MSN messenger, the box isnt highlighted. Is it because i have a newer version of Messenger installed? I have just had my first viruses ever,dload.exe.2 of them, and i had just opened an email from AOl.admin (i dont have AOL) and the email just said "ll",so maybe the viruses have nothing to do with the fact ive just starting using messenger, maybe they came with that email,or maybe from a download
any clues?

Yes, if Norton doesn't offer the option to protect the version of Messenger you have installed, the reason is usually that the version of Messenger you have is too new.
Of course Micrsoft want you to run the latest versions of Messenger as they claim the older ones have security flaws in them. Thus, you can't win!

also,Norton Internet security 2004 is useless with Scoobynet
