Does my DECT phone break my WLAN connection?

Recently, I have noticed my internet connection failing when making or receiving a phone call.
After the "blip" I can still see the connection but have to de-activate/re-activate to get re-enabled.
Just remembered the router actually looked like the connection had been broken, but have no proof of this other than a flashing light now steady
Anyone suffered this. Could my DECT phone be the problem?

Yes, DECT phones operate in the same frequency band as 802.11b. Try changing the channel on your base station settings.
