Question

Hi,

Hope someone can help.

Was previously an NTLhome customer, on the £10 per month unlimited internet access package.

Now moved to an area with no cable. Downloaded all the dial up connection buff, followed it to the letter, checked all the server DNS settings etc, and get nowhere

either get a dead line on the 0800 number or a recorded message saying this service unavailble when I try with the prefix **1263**

Any ideas ?

Hello

I thought that NTL unlimited dial-up was only available on NTL lines? Otherwise they have to pay BT the connection charges?

Just checked their website. You can use any NTL:Freedom product (http://www.ntlhome.com/offnet/ntl.asp) which is £15 per month.

Steve.

Angry

Be careful when you try to cancel your ntl subscription. They "lost" my first two cancellation letters, charging me £60 over 4 months, during which I recieved letters from a debt collection agency in Glasgow. I rang customer services who informed me that "some cancellation letters DO get lost in the post, sir!!" The customer services are poor, the payment centre are not in communication with customer services. All in all, the service was not impressive.
