Question

Got a prob with word shutting down without warning, i get an error box pop up.

Certainly looks bad!

Got up to date virus dats running?

Installed any software recently?

Installed any service packs recently?

Looks like a macro virus which is created by Windows. Easy enough to stop with a virus scanner although it will probably stop whatever you were using it for in Word.

delete your normal.dot file.

do a search for it and make a copy of it, and delete the original.

should work

Is word affected? I mean does it work OK? Might be best to re-run the word / office installer and tell it to fix any errors.

then get the latest Service Pack.
