What links just out of interest, you obviously managed to post your post?

I've had problems with the "BBS Code Syntax" & "Smilies Enabled" links sometimes, for whatever reason I click on them, they don't appear then Explorer crashes.

S'pose the Explorer crashing thing could be coincidence, after it happens enough

Do they work after a re-boot?
And do you get an error saying "svchost.exe" has caused some error and will be terminated?
