I've got a Radeon 9800 Pro (Sapphire Atlantis). I want to capture some VHS tapes to my PC. Any ideas if this card can do this or do i need something else?

Cheers

You'll need something else, depending on the quality your after depend on what you need, personally for a vhs copy i don't see any problem with a £30 capture card

dazzle do some great capture devices, what your after will be one that coverts analogue to digital. Therefore you have analogue inputs for phono and S-Video and also a digi input. The clever little box then converts it to a digital signal and goes into a standard firewire port on your pc (if u dont have one a PCI firewire card is dead cheap anyway). The result is that you can work with the footage as if you'd captured it from a digital camera and then output it as analogue or digital depending on your preference. Prices start from about 50 - 200 quid. Your graphics card will make treating the footage a dream especially with Adobe Premier. Good Luck!
