email with virus, but there's no attachment?

its one of the so called MS security updates, NAV says this:
Date: 9/30/2003, Time: 9:07:56, Administrator on MIKES
The email attachment Installer66.zl9 is infected with the Worm.Automat.AHB virus.
The file was quarantined.
the email is now sitting in the inbox ( unopened )but theres no attachment ??
Dummy question- has norton removed it?
also will blocking the sender do anything?, or will the emails just go straight into deleted items?
