Are there any freeware progs that will allow a webcam to record mpg (or similar). I want to connect a webcam to my laptop and record video and then upload to webspace.

LMAO @ messiah, i dont think ive mentioned it to be honest:p

But then, she wouldnt really be interested in video footage from a scooby drivers perspective :D

So, any ideas anyone?

Can you not just capture it as AVI and then convert to MPG afterwards ?

I could but the only method i have of capturing video/sound is using Movie Maker but this isnt the correct format.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Not exactly sure if this is what you are after buy try snagit 6. Good for screen capture :rolleyes:;)
