When I post pics, they appear initially, then after a while they fall off and are replaced with a small red 'x'.

If I 'edit' the post and view the source of the image and copy/paste it into the address bar, I can view it and it then reappears in the post.

But then it happens again....

It's nothing to do with photopic etc as I'm hosting them on my own webspace.

Someone mentioned that it could be a cookies problem.... any ideas?

I think your site may have a limit to the number of directly linked images you can have.

I use image station and it happens with them too. Show for a while but if they get too many hits they turn to red x's.

How many pics do you need hosting? If its only a small number i could do it for you.

Thanks anyway Boro, but I've moved them onto my "paid-for" webspace so hopefully there should be no transfer limit since I am paying for it.

It seems to be okay so far.
