top tip - get Tunnel B1 for the PSX, brilliant game and you'll probably find it in bargain buckets everywhere for only a fiver

Sensible Soccer on the Amiga - I lost count of how many joysticks I destroyed/ played with after mending them with string/ sellotape and a soldering iron!
never go back, though, spent hours recently configuring an emulator and convincing it to run sensi on my PC (great theme music!) - just didn't achieve what the original did (in my mind).....

I think what helped the original Sensi was the long loading times (the anticipation when you sat next to your mate with your beers when it was loading) then the roar when the 2 teams came out.
Also - the fuzziness of the RGB TV (or modulator) made part of the fun, too. Couldn't beat the big-screen games

Used to love Atic Atac(sp?) on the Spectrum. Running round as either a Surf, Knight or Wizard, falling down wells, finding secret entrances to walls, fighting off Vampires, Witches etc. in the search for 3 parts of a golden key, to escape from the house.
I seem to recall liking that original game with the twisty-***** and lines on the telly - where you could play tennis, or football. Can't remember the proper name for the console - I do know it isn't worth much though. Damn!

Manic Miner and Jet Set ***** have to rank up there with the best of them!! I used to spend hours (or until my spectrum overheated) been chased by Penguins and other assorted nasties. I can still hear the catchy/annoying background music.
