I am connected to freeserve broadband via the above router.

Now if I am on the internet or have an internet session in the background, I am fine. I can work for hours on my pc and the internet is always available.

If however I go on the internet and then close down the browser and then spend a few hours working on excel, if I open my browser and try and connect to the internet, the browser just hangs.

It is fine for outlook express that works fine,my emails come through fine, it is just the internet connection. I find myself having to reboot my pc each time!

I have checked the router, connection appears fine. In fact the router via the http://10.0.0.138/index.htm page tells me I am still connected. I have even tried disconnecting and connecting from within this menu. It appears to log me on but I still cannot browse the internet unless I switch the pc off.

Is there some setting I need to change??
Please help as it is driving me mad!!
