I was asking a week ago about which broadbad provider ppl use. Glad I took the advice offered by Chiark and others. Just installed PIPEX and it is excellent.
Great communication from PIPEX and all installed and working within eight days.

Basically, if you're signing up to pipex you can say who recommended pipex to you, and they'll get a month's free subscription.

It costs you (the new recruit ) nothing and means someone somewhere gets something for free. Which is nice

Wonder how much there monthly charges are ?? compatable modem costs also,is there a minimum spec off pc I should use for broadband or does the new modem take care off this ?? still on 56k dial up here and really must update !!

I also read starsrucks thread last week and from the feed back you guys gave I opted for Pipex, switched on within 7 days excellent comunication from them, for a measley £2 a week more than I was paying with Tiscali 24/7, 56K dial up (more like 46K) with a 2 hour cut off.
