Calling web experts

Hello,
Anyone know of a way to view a website in file directory format.
Reason: I'm having a legal dispute with someone who's changed some details on their site and claim its been there since day one.
I'm trying to view the file stamps of certain files to see when they have been modified.
The only way I've seen this happen is when I try and look at a site which either doesn't have an index.htm file present or the site doesn't support my web browser.
Comments appreciated.

The best way to prove that you are right and view the dir listing is to be sitting at the screen of the web server.
This is not always possible, if the server is running IIS then the subweb you are managing needs "directory browsing" enabled and you will be able to get a simple list view: example
If you don't have any form of administration / no form of leverage on the people hosting the site then I am afrtaid you are up the creek.
