Question

Can I stop Notes from making itself the default internet browser when I click on a hypertext link?

I think notes is utter XXXX compared to Outlook. We were forced to go over to it and I wish to interact with it as little as possible.

Cheers!

Bit rusty on Notes, used to use it a while ago.
Settings may look diff depending on version u are using.
-> Edit current location...
Click the "Internet Browser" tab
Change the drop down list to say either "Internet Explorer" Notes starts the Internet Exporer program separately) or "Notes with Internet Explorer" (Internet Explorer runs within Notes windows)

Also check your windows explorer file types.
----->tools--> folder options--> file types
check that html files open with IE.

I hated notes with a vengeance when i first had to support it.
Got used to it slowly. But its not that intuitive.
Tho a very powerful tool for databases.
Cheers & hope this helps

I used to like using Notes. Agreed that it is very powerful.
