I have tried to 'tweak' my NTL 600k BB connection but still get lower values using some of the avaliable speed testers.
Next 'tweak' is reverting to ethernet cable as USB is recommended for slower items i.e. mouse.
What more can I do? Site used

Thanks Chris. I do realise that it is not an exact science, but why pay for a 600k connection that cannot make it on the speed testers?
Like selling you a 2litre car only to find out it's a 1.8.
I will continue to try and get the best from my connection, but what about the majority of users that are sold short?
