If there's any footy fans with a PC that already don't own a Playstation2, then you'll be pleased to hear the world's finest football game is coming to the PC - Konami's pro evo soccer series!
"August 23, 2003 - Konami announced at the GC expo in Leipzig that it is underway with a PC version of Pro Evolution Soccer 3, the European version of the much revered Japanese soccer hit Winning Eleven 7.
Developed by KCE Tokyo, the PC version of PES3 will feature all the modes and animation routines from the forthcoming PlayStation 2 title, as well as completely new player models, designed specifically for the PC version. Konami has also added a new rewards system that awards players points, which they can then in turn use in a PES shop to buy new teams and players, stadiums, and new textures and hair cuts for the built-in player editor.
Like the PS2 edition, PES3 on PC offers competitive gameplay for up to eight players and will see a European release in November 2003. "
