Adding several picture as as watermarks to Word?

How is it done? I have worked out how to do a single image, but I would like to create a border down the side of several watermarked images.....
Would I have to add the images together in something such as Photoshop, then make them a watermark or is there an easier way?

Chelle,
Edit the header of the document - this way you can place background images - ctrl+c copy the the image then ctrl+v paste the image into the header then press return a couple of times and repeat. Right click on the image and select properties to change the border, etc.
