WinMX, how the hell does it work?

I have installed WinMX as there are 2 files that I wish to have in MP3 format but I cannot get any searches to return any results
I have installed Version 3.31 but I can't get any results of the search. On the bottom left I just receive Waiting for results. This has been like it for 30 minutes.

Even if I had spelt it incorrect the Waiting for results would have dissapered 
Anyway I fixed it. On Networks there are 2 options, I selected the other one and now it works
