Byebyeads pop ups

I've started getting pop ups from this company. It tells me to log on to there website, once there, they tell me to stop these pop ups i have to pay £25 for the program. Any other way i could stop these cause there doing my head in.

Go to Start, then Run and type in services.msc Click Ok
Scroll to Messenger, select it, right click it and choose Properties.
Under startup choose "Disabled", then choose Stop.
When stopped, click Ok.

You might want to get the google toolbar, I was using it before but now version 2.0 is out which comes with a popup blocker on it, damn useful.

It was doing my head in! Half way through a game of counter strike then bang, old byebyeads pops up and stops cs responding. Hopefully sorted now.

try Panicware.com ??? they have a free pop-up-stopper, was a thread similar to this a few days ago.
