Question

if a PDA (PocketPC) and a laptop got bluetooth, can i use active sync to sync them?

also, if i use the PDA to surf the net, does that mean the PDA has to run TCP/IP?

Q1 - Yes

Q2 - Depends on a few other things but...

GPRS connection - yes

WiFi connection - yes (dependant on suitable host connection)

Cradle connection - yes

You don't need to "run" TCPIP as such - it's sorted for you (default)
