Just installed Sophos after not running virus software for a while (slapped wrist). Got rid of everything bar one trojan which is nothing particularly bad but its located in E:\System Volume Information directory which I cant access to delete it. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Thanks,
Simon.

Would that be the system restore you have to turn off first?

It is indeed.

Q309531 - How to Gain Access to the System Volume Information Folder

I suspect you're going to need to clean it before you can turn System Restore back on. (assuming you turned it off)

Nice one fellas - just had to change the security settings on that folder, but had to shut simple folder type off first.

Simon.
