the type on this BBS is now twice as big, I know I am knocking on but jesus how do I get the type back to normal size???

In Internet Explorer, click the View menu and select Text Size. Medium is the usual setting.

try pressing CTRL and rolling the mouse wheel - this sometimes adjusts the text size.
