What's this doom thingy that the group buy thread is talking about?
Having well and truly shagged the pc today I am looking at all the bits required for a new high end set up, thought I'd better check out the group buy thread.
Now I'm wondering whether I aught to wait til.. when. September??
I can get by with the laptop, as long as I don't need to scan anything, (no scsi card)
Tell me I have not just wasted ALL day sat here chewing over CPU's PSU'S and MOBO's
still stuck on memory though (don't know what I'm looking for)

doom is the game doom 3 need a good spec pc to run, but if your waiting till september for better spec why not wait until march and get even better, there is never a good time to upgrade as things will always get better and cheaper you do it cause you want to
as long as you get good spec motherboard if you put good cpu now hopefully the board will be new enough to alllow you to put higher spec cpu in in 10 months time without changing everything

Big sinky,
How do you know the mem you're selling is compatible
I'll list my proposed "bits to buy" in another thread to let people pick holes in it, and maybe suggest something better!
Cheers
Andy
