isight and ichatav

Long shot i know as most of you lot are PC based, but for thiose who are not and know some apple stuff. Setup:
Me-G4 Dual 1GHz/2GBDDR/isight firwire camera and ichatav beta.ADSL 512 connection.
My Dad(portugal) cube G4/500mhz/512MB/isight and ichatav.ADSL 512 connection
Problem: audio is fine.video starts the connection and then freezes.Times out.
Fixes: There is no firewalls running so we dont need to open any ports.All other connection apps quit.
No other process's running.
