Hi,
I think the answer's 'yes' but to make sure I thought I'd check with the assembled brain power of Scoobynet ... you're bound to know for sure ... :-)
Gonna build myself a new PC - not sure whther P4 or AMD yet but the query is of a more fundamental nature. Will Win2K load and run OK on the latest ones ? i.e. 3GHz P4 or 3200 AMD. Or is it safer to go for XP?
Cheers
Dave
PS: you see I already have W2K ......

Yes Win2k will be fine, but XP is better IMO (and not so expensive to buy now).
You'll need eith win2k or XP drivers for your hardware, but presuming they are new parts compatibility with XP shouldn't be a problem.

Both Intel and AMD use the same core microcode, Intel were forced to open up their code after the US monopoly commission decided they had too much of a stronghold in the marketplace.
Go for XP Pro if you can, and install the latest service packs + drivers and you should be Ok.
